The Forever Doctor
The science fiction TV Show Doctor Who tells the story of The Doctor, a Time Lord from Gallifrey. Along with his companions, The Doctor travels around the universe saving planets and all sorts of species and life forms. The Original Doctor Who started in 1963 with William Hartnell as ‘The Doctor’ and continued until 1996. In 2005, it started again with the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston).
Doctor Who is written in a way that it can continue forever. The Doctor - instead of dying - regenerates (uses energy to grow a new body - but is still the same person). At the moment, ‘The Doctor’ is played by Matt Smith, who first took the role in 2010. Matt Smith is the first Doctor to be nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (2011).
I highly recommend watching this show, it is very well done and I promise you will love it.
